Recently my blog has become a It sucks to not have a baby blog. I know that most of you don't care and you're kind of sick of hearing it. I just want you to understand that it is a constant in my life. Fertility issues is one of those topics that woman tend to keep to themselves and I hope by sharing the pain and the frustration, others who struggle in silence will feel like they are not alone. I am grateful for the trials I have been given in my life. I have learned so much, not just about me but about the world. With the baby issue I have come across a hardship that you all should be aware of. Where is the sensitivity chicas? Here is what I hear almost on a daily basis:
Guess who else is pregnant. Everyone is pregnant. There must be something in the water. I can't wait to see her. She is for sure showing by now. My baby is so cute. He/she is crawling. Wow, they had a hard time because it took them awhile. I think they were trying for 4 months. Having a miscarriage is really common. Everyone will probably have to have one. I don't understand why you are still bitter. This is God's plan for you. At least you got pregnant.
Plus, those people whose status on Facebook always involves their pregnancy update. Ouch!!!
I don't mind hearing the occasional tid bit but I'm am hearing about pregnant people I don't even know. It feels like everyone is rubbing salt into my sliced flesh. I swear it's all most females in their 20's talk about. The miscarriage sucked but it's over and it really doesn't hurt anymore. The pain comes from the monthly game that keeps ending in failure. It's pretty rough so just be careful. You don't know who out there is hurting.

I'm not going into depth on these issues but;
The people trying to require that alcohol be served behind a 10 foot wall. Do you really think that hiding it from our kids will make them not want it. If anything it will give a mysterious appeal.
The people who are against the civil rights of same sex couples. I'm not talking about marriage I am talking about stuff like medical rights. The LDS church even came out with a statement (the Church does not object to rights for same-sex couples regarding ....)
The Pleasant Grove public park fight over the Ten Commandments Monument and the Summum religion that wants the right to put its monument of the Seven Aphorisms. It's only fair to not play favorites right?
Utah wanting to raise food and gas taxes. Please tax something we can live without. I'm all for the tabacco tax. It might be the push to stop smoking that you need.

This one's not really a rant, more of a heads up....
I know it's really early but I am friends with the most flaky people in this world so I'm hoping by giving more than a month's notice that at least some of you will show. If you are going to be around and are interested please leave a comment and I will send a formal invite when it gets closer.
Thank You and Goodnight.

Make sure to send me an invite. I'll try to make it.
It helps to be able to vent about fertility issues. It also helps to know you are not alone. I know how it feels. People are constantly asking Mike and I when we are going to start popping out kids. They have no idea how bad that hurts... but it does. Have you tried going to a fertility specialist?
Not yet because we got pregnant and then miscarried we have to wait another year to see if we can get pregnant again. We have 6 more trying months, so wish us luck.
I want to come to the birthday party. It is on a saturday so I will be able to come!!
