I have a confession to make. I vent which in turn can turn to gossip. It's a new trait that I've gained since getting married that I'm really not proud of. Men play video games and woman talk and talk and talk. This last winter I got in a rather lengthy fight. We have since made up and we were talking the other day and I couldn't believe how many people got involved behind the scenes who were not involved. For example:
We show up at friend's house without fight girl. Friend asks why fight girl didn't come. We vent a little (probably not the best plan). Friend calls significant other who then calls fight girl and tells her that we're talking crap who in turn tells her friend who already hates me and roommates. Within 12 hours it was already spread 4 layers. And because it works like the telephone game all sorts of things were being said. I ended up looking like I was spouting off to everyone. Wow, so the moral of the story is be careful who you vent to and if you hear something don't pass it on. As ladies we already have enough to deal with. Let's be kinder to one another.
