Halloween

So one great perk about the private blog is that now I can use my baby's real name. We named him Noah Atticus. He is do amazingly well for being an adopted one year old. It was super rocky the first week, but things calmed down rather quickly. I'm amazed by how fast he's adapting. His parents are the ones who feel like they've been hit by a bus. Being a parent is amazing but extremely exhausting especially when going to school full time and juggling two crazy dogs in a very small apartment. Although anyone who knows me, knows I wouldn't trade any of it for the world. I think at this moment, my life is pretty perfect.

Halloween this year was very well, wet. The good news was it wasn't snowing, however I think that's supposed to happen next week.

Check out our hot pumpkins... (two shrute bucks if you can spot Indy)

Noah was the alien from toy story originally but he hated the hat so he kind of looked like a character from star trek. I will use any excuse to put on the old uniform. Adam went as a drunk priest who likes little boys (can you tell by the Hanson Tee?) Seriously, the man cracks me up.

My adorable niece and nephew were Charlie Brown and his little sister Sally. My baby sis went as Pebbles from the Flintstones.

The award for most awesome costume goes to my friend Chew who went as glue.

We're in trouble now.... (please don't judge the messy room, our dryer broke hence the laundry everywhere)

He is adorable, and the joy on your face in the walking video just exudes "proud mommy". I'm so happy for you. It's interesting, because I read a blog written by a woman in Provo who adopted a 1 year old boy at almost the same time you did. It's so cool to see two such happy situations. So similar, so different. If you are interested, the address for her blog is www.pink-moss.com. (no "blogspot"). You guys are all heros in my book!
