Time for the Itch?

I know I say this all the time, but life is moving way too fast. I can't believe it's already been 7 years since I promised my man I'd be his forever. The past 7 years have been really hard and really fun. I guess that is a good way to describe marriage in general. I would never take any of it back. I love you babe and I look forward to seeing what other kinds of adventures we find ourselves wandering into.
This year for our anniversary we took things really chill because as everyone one knows being full-time students, commuting, needing dental work, and adopting = beyond broke (plus we're both burnt out). We went out to dinner where it made me wonder if Ashton Kutcher would come out from behind the kitchen. First the bus boy dropped a plate that splattered sauce everywhere, then our waitress dropped half of our bread sticks, and then our Italian sodas started overflowing all over the table. Everyone was really nice about everything and we left the place busting a gut. Afterward we went to Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows. We went to Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets on our first date so it was sweet and romantic.

This weekend we had the annual in-law Christmas party. It was crowded, loud, and really great to see everyone. Adam counted 53 people this year and that is missing most of Mark's family who lives in Ohio. I think we need to invest in a reception center. It took Noah awhile to get used to the massive number of little kids trying to hold him but by the end of the night he was licking the dog so I'm pretty sure he's good.

After 3 separate tries of getting people to come with us to temple square, we ended up going alone. I would blame the holiday season but looking back on this year I've noticed that the number of friends willing to show up to things has shrunk drastically. We have our solids (those up for whatever), but our right leg's in Japan right now.
I always wondered why people stop hanging out with their friends when they get older. What are your theories?
Either way I think it's el lamo and may mean venturing out to expand my friendship circle.

So, I need to hear about these things! I wanted to go see the lights soooo bad this year. I think that I am going to go with just me and the kiddos next year. For some reason, I can't get Jer excited for it. I think the last time we went is the time we went with you guys. Kylie was under 1 year. Yeah, so next year, let's plan on it! I LOVE this Christmas lights!!!
