Finally...

After 3.5 long and trying years we finally have a little boy. We are pleased to announce that Noah Atticus is officially a member of our family. We are so grateful for all the love, support, and help we have received in this rough adoption process. We're especially want to express thanks to Noah's birth mom for her choice to give this boy to a family who could provide him what he needs as well as love and adore him forever. We also want to thank our lawyers who made everything possible.
As for the court experience, it was incredibly intimidating. Managing a very tired toddler while trying to answer questions from the judge can heighten anyone's anxiety. Due to the incident with the birth mother the judge found it would be best if we run a search for a birth father before anything could be completely finalized. Thankfully after more freaking out we found out that there is no father on record. So there you have it, we are home free and are officially parents to the most amazing son I could have ever imagined. There are times I have to pinch myself to feel like it's real.
