No I did not perish to a brain eating zombie even though mornings make me feel that way. Life has just been exhausting. Being an intern is like being in a lab practical for 8 hours a day. Don't get me wrong I love the job, I'm just confused about what my clinical adviser expects verses what my clinical instructor is expecting. It is as if everything I've learned in school isn't how they do things in the real world. It's hard to keep up. Maybe I need to work on looking outside the box.

As someone who's worked in healthcare for 10 years, I can promise you that what they teach in school usually has almost no bearing on what you do in real life. Thinking outside the box is good!
Good luck, and congratulations on finalizing Noah's adoption. We've never met, but I've been reading about your little family for a while now. So happy for you!
