My last internship was in acute care. I LOVED IT!!! The patients are usually happy to work with you, your treaments don't have to be prolonged a ridiculous amount of time, your treatments are made up of the important basics that are often forgotten, and you get to see a variety of diagnosis as well as well work with multiple types of people. Plus, I like the challenge of working around whatever put them in the hospital. The therapy staff was also amazing. They are so down to earth and accepting. It was a lot of fun. So as I start my job search I will be looking into hospitals and Skilled Nursing Facilities. That's kind of surprising because when I started the program I thought for sure I would be an outpatient girl.
And a great way to finish a semester is by getting married:
