New Years 2012

New Years Eve in general seemed very quiet this year. In a way I think it was a very appropriate way to say goodbye to 2011. We spent the night with some of the most incredible people we know. We started our night playing games and watching "Man on a Buffalo" with our incredible friends. Unfortunately, the night ended early due to the number of little people.

From there we went to the in-laws place to ring in the new year. The guest list included our home teacher and his wife from our very first married student ward. It's been like six years since we've seen them. They have 3 kids and one on the way which wigged out my brain and made me feel really old. My nieces and nephews had a great time waking grandpa up by making as much noise as possible.

New Years Day we were visited by the ghosts of New Years Past. Chuck and Sandy were able to spend the night. We played humiliating games until we were crying because of laughing so hard. Poor Sandy was stuck in the candy cane forest for practically the whole game. I sure miss those crazies. Hopefully life will one day bring them back to Utah.

And to end this post with my little talker...
