Legen (wait for it..) dary Weekend

Though the title of this post is well super cliche, trust me when I say that this weekend was high up on the epic charts.  Friday started with a family trip to the zoo.  Noah has been a lot more fun this year because he is aware of what's up.  Like daddy, the monkeys were his favorite.  He was lucky enough to find a dime on the sidewalk which I told him he could keep if he put it in his pocket for safe keeping.  When we walked by the big carousel my little man started the toddler freak, you know the one they do when they want something.  I told him the carousel costs a lot of money so we would have to do it next time.  Right at that moment, with tear filled eyes, he pulled out his dime and said, "Mommy I have the money."  We took his dime and bought a ticket.  How could you say no to that?  He was super excited that he got to ride Tigress.

The next day I had to attend a conference for work (which as a side note was very good).  So that made it a Daddy/Noah day as well as free comic book day.  Noah met IRON MAN which for a two year old boy ranks higher than Santa or the Easter Bunny.

Afterwards Adam took Noah to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point.  They had lots of fun digging for bones and paying mean dinosaurs.

When I got done with my meetings we all went to lunch and then to The Avengers.  This was Noah's second movie ever.  The first 20 minutes was great.  He cuddled inbetween us.  Then he proceded to go in waves of being bored and playing the hulk (aka smashing mommy and daddy) We only had to step out about 8 times to visit time out.  Each time Noah screaming, "Bad Mommy, Bad Daddy!!!!"  Oh the joys of having a two year old.  They grow out of this right?

So there you have it, our shiznit weekend.  I bet you are feeling tired too.
