Mothers Day has never been a favorite holiday of mine. There are a lot of expectations that are most likely impossible to meet. Though I have a great respect for mothers everywhere, my infertile soul is still very tender when it comes to hearing about the gift God gave to women to bear children. All of that aside, I cannot express how blessed I am to be a mother to such an incredible kid like my Noah. He is my sunshine who brought light into my world full of rain. As a mom I believe it is my duty to give him security and make sure he always feels loved. It is my responsibly to help him realize that he is capable of anything, that serving others is the key to happiness, and that he will one day be a superhero to a family of his own. It is also very important that I give him a kick ass childhood because he will only get the one. I seriously love you little man, you make your mommy very happy.
Mothers Day was good this year. I got some sweet swag:

The day was spent with at my mom's place catching up. The best surprise was when my sister showed up with adorable babies. It seems like it's been forever since we have seen them.
