Our Miracle Baby is growing up so fast. I often feel like if I blink he will be 18 and going on to conquer the world. This week our little man turned 3. Here is some facts that I want to remember about my 3 year old Noah:
- His world revolves around the Avengers and the Power Rangers.
- He hates wearing button up shirts making Sunday mornings a battle.
- He is incredibly social and will strike up a conversation with anyone, I love that about him but it may be time to teach stranger danger.
- He loves his Weezer dog because he is "baby, tiny"
- His favorite songs include Some Nights by Fun, Tonight by Fun, and Everybody Talks by the Neon Trees.
- He is still having nightmares about sharks in his room and the creepy lawn mower guy.
- He struggles to fall asleep unless mommy lays next to him.
- He is testing boundaries more than ever. He will say things like, "Go in the street mommy and get hit by a car and go to the hospital." I am so proud that he is able to take, "Noah, don't go in the street because you will get hit by a car!" and use it to verbalize his anger. He is so smart. But I won't lie, when he says stuff like that it breaks my heart every time. Did I mention having a toddler is really hard?
- Mommy and Noah cuddle and watch the Wonder Years almost every night. Noah will say "Mommy, Kevin Arnold is kissing again. Gross!!!"
Happy Birthday Little Man. You are funny, smart, handsome, and sweet. We love you with all of our hearts and we are so lucky to have you as our son. Your future is bright and we are excited to watch your life unfold.
