I'm sorry that the posts lately have been mostly pictures. A lot has been happening and catching up takes too much time to write much. So here goes more sweet and simple updates.
Avery reached the 1 month mark
She smiled for the first time at 6 weeks melting all of our hearts.
Becoming a big brother has made my little man not so little.
My friends and family threw me a beautiful baby shower
I made the HUGE DECISION to cut back to part time and to go back to grad school full time. This decision is mainly driven by the inability to afford full time daycare for 2 children. I am terrified but hopeful that everything will just fall into place because it has to.
Adam has taken on a second job so we can can survive the adoption expenses. We also found out that we are getting new neighbors across the street. Yay!!!! The rest of our time has been spent setting up the nursery, trying to sleep whenever possible, and managing to not freeze.
We are happy and life is exceptionally good.
