Spring Forward, Fall Back

IT'S SPRING BREAK!!!!

You know what that means... time to catch up on my academic career. I know, it is super lame. Unfortunately, my school and Adam's school disagree on when is the right time to defrost. Oh well, I'll just hold out for another 12 weeks and we can bust out of this joint.

I have great news... the debate season is over which gives me my man back, at least for the weekends. He hasn't been around since Christmas so you can imagine how awesome this is.

So my husband is a toy fanatic. Whenever we go shopping we always hit the toy section. Being a girl, I would much rather peruse the Barbie section than look at GI Joes and Transformers. I found a new collection that made my 9 year old heart flutter. It is called Barbie Basics and it includes pretty much the entire cast of America's Next Top Model. I hate collecting things but if I didn't I would would start here.

I have been giving a lot of thought lately on if it is wise to be honest about my struggles in the baby world. It feels as if I am losing friends one pregnant woman at a time. It's not because they are pregnant but because I have offended them by being less than thrilled about the situation. Adam says that I ask for it because I publish how I feel. This is true, however don't you think that it's better to know why I avoid you? I'm sure people would figure it out eventually anyway. Even with the negativity I feel like I made the right choice. I have been given amazing support from many along with fellow infertility warriors from all around the world. I have also gained a better understanding of the heartache my single friends go through in their journey to find the one.
Infertility is the hardest thing I have ever had to go through but I wouldn't take it back. I have learned so much about myself and about other people. Isn't it interesting how life works that way? Though I am grateful for this trial, I really hope it will end soon.
