New Years Resolutions 2011

  1. Be Bold- my professor is always telling us to be bold. If we don't know the answer, we should guess with confidence and gusto. I want to live with confidence and gusto.
  2. Finalize Noah's adoption
  3. Run 832 miles
  4. Stick to a Budget
  5. Limit eating out to 4x a month
  6. Walk my dogs at least 4x a week
  7. Be more "girl next door" sexy.
  8. Stop mothering my husband
  9. Graduate!!!!!
and last but not least, I want to hold myself to a higher standard... As a freshman I was a member of the Institute Council. The theme for the year was the following quote that touched my life greatly:
"The time has come for us to stand a little taller, to lift our eyes and stretch our minds to a greater comprehension and understanding of the great millennial mission of this The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. this is a season to be strong. It is a time to move forward w/o hesitation, knowing well the meaning, the breadth, and the importance of our mission. It is a time to do what is right regardless of the consequences that might follow. It is a time to be found keeping the commandments. It is a season to reach out with kindness and love to those with kindness and love to those in darkness and pain. It is a time to be considerate and good, decent, and courteous toward one another in all of our relationships. In other words, to become more Christlike. We have nothing to fear. God is at the helm. He will shower down blessings upon those who walk in obedience to His commandments. Such has been His promise. Of His ability to keep that promise none of us can doubt." -President Gordon B. Hinckley
