This New Years Eve we decided to play it low key and invite a bunch of people over to our place. With moving over the holidays and having a 3 year old, going out seemed more like a chore than fun. We had a great group of people we were willing to put themselves out there and risk of embarrassment all while being completely sober. You are all awesome and you made the party great. We started the party out with the "guess who I am" game, you know the one where we tape a name on your back and then ask questions to try to guess who you are. These included people like Honey Boo Boo, Black Widow, The Mayans, and Clint Eastwood's chair. Next was charades trying to guess 2012 movie titles. To top if off, sang the night away with karaoke with the top 40 hits from 2012. The food was good and the after midnight fireworks made the night perfect. A special thanks to the Josh and Sarah who brought the fireworks and the adorable preteens who helped entertain all the little kids.
New Years Day, we rolled our tired bods out of bed and went over to the Paco's for their annual brunch. My 3 year old and his 2 year old firend managed to open a locked door, sneak into the garage, open a van door, climb into the van, close the van door, lock all the doors of the van, buckle themselves in, and then both poop their pants. All of this was done in around 5 minutes. Luckily they didn't take the keys with them and I packed an extra pair of underwear. We are seriously going to have to keep and eye on these two. Breakfast was great and we especially enjoyed the surprise operatic singing.
