Who has the time?

My poor blog has suffered lately.  It turns out that being a working mom who is trying to adopt another leaves little time for much else.  I love looking back on my life so let me catch you up.

We lost our day care provider in the worst way possible.  After several occasions of "flaking out" last minute, I found out she quit after reading the following Facebook status update:

"Today I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders!!! I had a moment of clarity this afternoon and knew exactly what I needed to do, and amazingly... took action and did it. AHHHHH! This week has been an eyeopener to what is important to the happiness of my family and myself. So, I removed the thing that pushes me over the edge. Thank you friends for your fabulous advice and words of encouragement. I have the best peeps in the world!"

That is my baby you're talking about!!!!! This mama bear is super angry.  Also thanks for venting out your frustration with everyone in the neighborhood instead of coming to me and like a mature adult and letting me know that day care is just not for you.  YOU VOLUNTEERED for the JOB. Seriously Not Cool!!!!

Moving on...

Indy met a skunk in our back yard

Our friends have been coming around more

Our nephew Lance came home from his mission to Taiwan

Our nephew McKay left on his mission to France

My step mom graduated college

We said one final goodbye when we buried my father's ashes.  We put his ashes in a box with pictures of his family and friends, small trinkets from his life, a card from his wife, a small GI Joe Noah wanted him to have, and his ZZ Top beard.  I love my Dad so much.  I will miss him everyday.

The weather is warm and my little man keeps growing and growing.  Time goes way too fast.  Can you just stay little forever?

Love, love, love the picture of Noah! So precious! And ya... About that day care provider... I'd be super ticked! How immature that she is too lame to talk to you! I wish we lived closer so I could help out with your sweet boy.
