Here is an overview of the past week of my incredible life.
Tuesday: Ye Haw!!! My studly husband took the ladies out to the rodeo. I'm pretty sure it fulfilled our friend Chew's lifelong dream of being saturated with cowboyness. I love the patriotism that goes along with rural events. I think we should all show more pride in being American. After we sang the national anthem Adam turned to me and said, "Watch out, if you're not singing they might send you back to Mexico!!!" Stupid politics, again that is a topic for another day. The joke did make me laugh pretty hard though. Long story short, bull riding is awesome.
Thursday: Top your own Little Caesar. With a pile of Cheese Little Caesar pizzas and our creative minds, we pulled together a cheap and delicious activity (plus I pretty sure Little Caesar never tasted so good). The most creative award goes to Chew who topped her pizza with pineapple and coconut. Later when the boys communed with my arch nemesis (aka video games), the ladies went and played at the park. My arms hurt for two days, I really need to get back into shape.
Pioneer Day: To honor our ancestors we cheered on a local minor league baseball team. We won by one. We definitely have to start going to more sporting events because i love them. Later that night we nerded it up. It is not something I can do very often so I hoped all my guy friends enjoyed it.
Well that's about it. I hope everyone is having a great summer. The big move is this week so stay tuned to read about that adventure. Hopefully this time it won't include kitchen carpet.
